Four Alaska Native women learning to teach their critically endangered language, as only 41 fluent Elders still speak Kodiak Alutiiq. The grit and resilience of these women helps them overcome historical trauma, politics and personal demons as they evolve into "language warriors."

In partnership with the Anchorage Museum, Keep Talking will be followed by a panel discussion addressing issues of revitalization, historical trauma and recovery with scholars Maria Williams, Aron Crowell, Roy Mitchell, Alisha Drabeck and Melissa Borton. Free; use the museum’s 7th Avenue entrance.
